Sharda University Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria for each course are different, to get the details Check the information below. 

You must have the 12th grade with JEE Mains to apply for B.Tech. Your 12th grade, on the other hand, should be from a recognized and verified SSC board.

For M.Tech you need to have a Bachelor's in Engineering in addition to the GATE.

For Integrated B. Tech + M. Tech, you must have a 12th-grade point average of 75% in addition to the JEE MAINS.

Lastly, for the research, you need to have a Master's degree in the relevant field alongside NET and a good research proposal.

For MBBS you have to clear NEET and for BCA you have to clear the 12th and for MCA you have to clear your Graduation. 

For B.des you have to clear UCEED or NIFT or University level Entrance while for the B.Arch JEE MAINS PAPER 2 will be the best.

Sharda University Selection Criteria

Sharda University strictly adheres to the entrance examination cum merit-based admission for offering seats in their institution.

To select students for management courses, the All India Examination, such as CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/JEE MAINS Paper 2/NEET will be used.

If you have not attempted/qualified for any of the preceding exams, you must take the Sharda University CET.

Following this, you will have to go through several stages, including Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.

If you pass all of these rounds according to the Sharda University criteria, you will be admitted.

In 2022's placement drives, the alumni were highly placed in Unacademy, Dominus Labs, InMobi Pvt Ltd, Ohreee Ltd, Karza Technologies, Matus Business Pvt Ltd, and Zop Smart some of the companies involved. The highest package leveraged by these companies was 12 lakhs/year while the average package dropped to 8 lakhs per annum. Also, the University is continuously making a scientific approach to train students for placement by making them skilled and aware of the industrial need. 

How To Apply at Sharda University

Prospective students can apply to college courses by following the instructions below.

Students must go to Sharda University's official website.

On the dashboard, click the "Admissions Enquiry" icon.

Students can easily obtain an admission form and fill out basic information for their 10th, 12th, and graduation years.

The candidate must then reimburse the application fees.

The completed form must then be proposed by the students.

You applied for admission when you pressed the "enter" key.

As a result, this is the first stage of the Sharda University admissions process.

The students are then selected and assigned to various courses. Students are guided through the final round before beginning their academic program.

Sharda University Scholarships

Sharda University has a provision providing scholarships to students who have extraordinary educational performance in their previous academic pursuits as well as Entrance Examinations. Let's see what are those Criteria which can win you a scholarship at Sharda University.

For B.Tech, MBA, Law, Medical (except dental), B.Arch, M.Des, and MSc there's a similar scholarship structure that is awarded based on your score.

The candidates who have achieved more than 95% in their 12th, as well as Entrance Examination, are eligible for a 100% Scholarship.

Candidates with 94% to 90% will be given a Scholarship of 60% while the candidates whose aggregate is less than 90 and more than 88% are promised 40% Scholarships. 

Students who have less than 85% and 80% will be given 20% & 10% Scholarships each. 

University Scholarship: it can be given to all the students who are enrolling at Sharda University. It is like a fee waiver which will be around 25% of the tuition fees for the first year except for the students enrolling in medical and nursing Courses. 

Sports Scholarship: Candidates who are District or State level Players/Sportspersons will be allowed a 14% to 80% Scholarship in their 1st-year fees. However, the amount sanctioned will vary based on the nature of the sports they have represented. 

Arm forces/Navy/Air Force Scholarships: The Wards of all Indian forces personnel will be given a 5% waiver in their first-year fees, However, the terms and conditions will be the same for Medical Students. 

Staff Scholarship: The Staff Kids are given scholarships under the Scholarship Policy of the University.  

Scholarships for siblings of previous alumni: Siblings of the previously passed students of Sharda University are also eligible for the Scholarship program. They will receive a 5% discount on their first-year fees; however, the terms and conditions for Medical Students will remain the same

Notes: All these scholarships will be given in the form of fee waivers. No cash will be transferred to the student's accounts

Sharda University Hostel Fees

Sharda University has both Girl and Boys' Hostels separately where you have to pay 1 lakhs 60,000 for the 3 AC Seater room with attached Toilet. Rooms without a toilet will charge around 1 lakh 05 thousand. Also, you will get complimentary laundry where you weigh 5 kg using the best Washing Machines in the industry.
